Free City (album)

''Free City'' is the debut studio album by hip-hop group St. Lunatics. It was released on June 5, 2001, almost a full year after the release of group member Nelly's debut, ''Country Grammar''. The album was a commercial success as it debuted at #3 on the ''Billboard'' 200 with 196,000 copies sold in its first week. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA a month later.
==Background==
The title ''Free City'' came from their sixth member City Spud who was incarcerated at the time of release.
